Description

The starting point of this route is in the middle of De Maasduinen National Park. From here you cycle to the border town of Siebengewald at the tip of Limburg. You then continue your journey to Afferden through the beautiful nature of De Maasduinen. This park owes its name to the drifting sand ridges that formed at the end of the last ice age. Large areas in the Maasduinen are grazed by Galloways, sheep and goats to keep the park naturally tidy. From Afferden you cross the Maas to Vierlingsbeek and then cross the water again to Bergen. You ultimately end your tour at Landgoed Bleijenbeek. There you can have a delicious lunch or dinner to satisfy your hunger.
