Description
The starting point of this route is in the middle of the National Park De Maasduinen. From here you cycle to the border town of Siebengewald in the tip of Limburg. Then you continue your journey to Afferden through the beautiful nature of De Maasduinen. This park owes its name to the drifting sand ridges that were formed at the end of the last ice age. Large areas in the Maasduinen are grazed by Galloways, sheep and goats to keep the park tidy in a natural way. From Afferden you cross the Maas to Vierlingsbeek and then cross the water again to Bergen. You finally end your journey at Landgoed Bleijenbeek. There you can enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner to satisfy your hunger.
