Cycling route Hilvarenbeek, Oirschot and Middelbeers

From Hilvarenbeek, you'll enjoy a beautiful day of cycling, filled with natural beauty and cultural history. You won't have to travel far for the latter. The Vrijthof square is a protected village view. Here you'll see stately mansions and the late-Gothic St. Peter's Church from the fifteenth century. Just past Biest-Houtakker, you'll cross the Wilhelmina Canal and then head east on quiet lanes. About halfway along your route, you'll pass the De Familie Suykerbuyck pancake house. Time to stop and enjoy a drink and a snack. Oirschot also boasts a Vrijthof square. Here, too, you'll see several centuries-old buildings, such as the twelfth-century Mariakerkje (St. Mary's Church). Via the Baest estate, you'll cycle to Middelbeers, after which you'll explore the woods of the expansive De Utrecht estate. You'll pass the Flaestoren tower: from the top, you'll have a unique view.
