Description
From Loverendale - ter Linde you will take a bike ride through vast polders and towns with a rich cultural history. Do you have plenty of time? Then take a trip to the beach where you can buy a snack at Marie bio strandkot. Via Vrouwenpolder you cycle south along the dike, looking out over the Veerse Meer. After a few kilometers you will enter Veere, one of the most beautiful fortified towns in the Netherlands. Take your time to explore this Zeeland gem at your leisure. For example, you can admire the Grote Kerk from 1348 and the fifteenth-century town hall. The next historical place on your route is Middelburg. At junction 3 you cycle into Sint Laurense Weihoek, a reserve for meadow birds. The route ends at the Loverendale - ter Linde campsite.
