The municipality of Vijfheerenlanden is still young but worth discovering! This route was created thanks to tips from residents about their favorite place in the municipality. We invite you to experience these special places yourself. Get on your bike and be surprised by all the beauty that our municipality has to offer. For example, you can discover the Lekpoort, the only remaining city gate of Vianen. The polders Bolgerijen and Autena form the largest inner-dike osier complex in the Netherlands. The Wiel van Bassa or Schoonrewoerdse Wiel is an enormous pool of 3 hectares: the largest breakthrough wheel in the Netherlands. Tip: also combine the route with the Tussen Lek en Linge route, along the well-known pearls in the municipality. Use the bicycle junctions in and around the area for this.
