Description
The IJssel is the most beautiful river in the Netherlands. This branch of the Rhine runs from Arnhem (Westervoort) to Kampen (Ketelmeer/IJsselmeer). You start the bike tour in Brummen. Where possible, cycle along the IJssel. The route also takes you past Voorsterklei, Gorssel, Zutphen, Bronkhorst and back to Brummen. You will take the ferry twice, so take some change with you. Perhaps also useful for purchasing courgettes, plums and other regional products that are for sale on tables at farms.
