This walking route takes you through the Pettemerduinen. The first part of the route you loosen up your legs, while you walk through Callantsoog. Here you can see the Reformed Church from 1580 on the church square. The tower has a particularly beautiful finish and dates from 1671. The church bell dates from 1491 and comes from an earlier church. During the British-Russian invasion of North Holland in 1799, the occupying forces still used this church as a horse stable. In the Pettemerduinen it is wonderfully sheltered to walk on the slightly sloping path. Ideal for a day of relaxation. You make a shortcut, where it is striking how varied the flora is here. At Duincamping De Lepelaar you can have a bite to eat and a drink in the cozy cafe. Through the dunes you walk back to Paviljoen8/Vakantiepark De Nollen.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
