Cycle via Oudesluis to Kolhorn, where you'll find the charming De Turfschuur museum and the beautiful Laurenskerk church. Then cycle to Schagen. The Regional Museum 1940-1945 is housed in one of the castle towers of Schagen Castle. The towers date back to the Middle Ages. The Battle of the Somme 1914-1918 Museum is located in the other tower: the only museum in the Netherlands dedicated to the First World War. The octagonal Hargermolen mill dates from 1804.
