Cycling route Arnhem, IJssel and Neder-Rijn

This route takes you from Arnhem to the floodplains along the Rhine and IJssel. First you cycle past Park Klarenbeek and Park Presikhaaf. Then you cross the IJssel. From the bridge you have a wonderful panorama of the area. It is quiet cycling over the Pleijdijk. You can walk to the viewpoint to see where the IJssel splits from the Rhine. Just before junction 65, there is an old manor house hidden between the trees on the right of the dike: Huis Loowaard. At Pannerden you cross the canal, past the floodplains and the town of Huissen you cycle back to Arnhem. You cycle past the center here, further on you look out over the beautiful Sonsbeekpark. The route ends with a drink and a snack at Bloem Arnhem.
