Description
Camping De Vledders is an ideal base for exploring the Drenthe countryside. For example, you can drive to Gasteren. From this picturesque village green, you can take a loop walk through the Drentsche Aa National Park. The first part of the route takes you through the valley of the Gasterse Diep. Further on, this stream flows into the Oudemolense Diep. It is wonderfully quiet along the water, ideal for a day of relaxation. You walk back to Gasteren through the Gasterse Dunes. The second loop takes you through the stream valley of the Anloerdiepje. You look out over rough grasslands and patches of swamp forest. Just before junction 66, you also walk a bit along the private Landgoed de Schipborg. Back in Gasteren, you can take a walk along the beautiful village green.
