Your route starts at Polderflora Camping. The landscape here is old Dutch. During your route you will see several polder mills, such as the beautiful Rietveldsemolen from 1648. Not so long ago, the waterway village of Rietveld was only accessible by boat. From postman to coalman, they all came by boat. Now roads have been constructed, but some of the houses are still only accessible by water. Very special to see. On the north side you will discover the Vogelplas, Rietveldsche Wetering and the Dwarswatering - here you can fully enjoy the water around you. The nature reserve at the Compierekade is rich in birds and insects. Take a look from a footpath over the 'terp', accessible via a small bridge. Watch out for the overgrown cracks!
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
