Tour of Boskoop and Old Bodegraven

Your route starts at Polderflora Camping. In Boskoop you will see some beautiful old buildings on the Zijde. You will also pass the former water tower from 1908. The old characteristic layout of Boskoop can still be clearly recognized in the narrow and far-reaching plots with nurseries that are separated by ditches. Boskoop is called the largest contiguous ornamental plant cultivation area, one of the ways to explore it is a boat trip through the ditches. Boomkwekerijmuseum Boskoop is fun to look around, in addition to the exhibition inside you will also find a tree nursery house, museum nursery, shed and shipyard. Further on you cycle through Oud Bodegraven, the part of the Oud Bodegraafseweg with farms. In 1950 this was a hamlet with 21 farms, along an unpaved road.
