Description
This route runs over well-maintained dirt roads and the second part goes over the grounds of the Giels Bos, a shelter for the mentally handicapped, who stay there in various residential units with good supervision. This also includes a farm with an extensive forest and a meadow with a beautiful pond with benches.
This walk is highly recommended after an extremely wet period.
You also pass the Lilse Bergen recreational area.
It is a great route for wheelchairs, if you adapt the route a little.
