Biddinghuizen
In 790, there was already a village at the location where Biddinghuizen is now: Bidningahusum. About 1200 years later, in 1963, the first family came to live in the new Biddinghuizen. The village is one of the three cores of the municipality of Dronten. Biddinghuizen may be small, but major events are regularly organised within the village boundaries. From the Arrow Rock Festival to Opwekking, from the World Jamboree to Lowlands. For those who prefer peace and quiet, Biddinghuizen has plenty of greenery and water. This cycling tour largely goes along the Veluwemeer, where there is a lot to see, especially in the summer.
