The Netherlands has a new national park: Nieuw Land National Park in Flevoland. Nieuw Land National Park includes the Oostvaardersplassen, the Lepelaarplassen, the Markermeer and the Marker Wadden. All these areas would never have existed without the reclamation of Flevoland, the largest reclamation project in the world. Although man made the first move, it was nature that created unique, sometimes un-Dutch landscapes. Get on your bike and discover the nature of this new land with this ANWB route.
