Although every cycle route is a joy to cycle, this route is truly special. In addition to cycling along the beautiful coast, you also pass through Hoek van Holland, where enormous ships continue their way to or from the sea. From here you have a view of the Port of Rotterdam, the largest port in Europe. Considering the small country, quite special!

During this route you will pass various dismounting points. You will cycle past locations that are reminiscent of the Golden Age. Here, just off the coast, the great Dutch navigator Maarten Tromp was hit by a bullet and died during the naval war with the English.

Discover the history and special nature of this area at d\\\'Oude Koestal. In this visitor center you will get to know the Westland better and discover which animals find their home in the forests you cycle through.

Take a break at Lunchroom Bijzonder, where you will be helped by nice people and can enjoy delicious dishes.
