Tour of the dunes from the 't Blauwe Schaap recreation area

Your route starts with a cup of coffee at Uitspanning't Blauwe Schaap. From your starting point, you drive straight through nature to the village of Loon op Zand, which is named after the Loonse and Drunense Dunes. You make a beautiful loop through here. In this national park, you will find, in addition to the famous drifting dunes, also vast heathlands and quiet forests. This route takes you straight through the beautiful forests and right along an enormous sand drift. Get off in Giersbergen, the hamlet consists almost entirely of thatched long-façade farms. You drive back along the south side of the park, where it borders the damp area De Brand. De Strijdhoef in Udenhout is located on a centuries-old estate. The castle was completely restored between 1970 and 1973.
