Description
The "Todden" were travelling traders who travelled from a small region throughout Northern Europe. Traces of the Todden's existence are still clearly visible in many places today.
The Toddenland cycle route takes you on a varied cycle tour of 122 kilometres in total through the historic "Toddenland". The route crosses Ibbenburen, Hopsten, Recke and Mettingen in the Tecklenburger Land and Schapen, Beesten, Messingen, Thuine and Freren in the southern Emsland.
