Beautiful Tour Mark / Terheijden!!!

Beautiful route of 40 km along the Mark and the Binnenpolder of Terheyden.

We started at the harbor (junction 21)

If you follow 72 from the harbour, you will be driving on the cycle path of De Kleine Schans, a fortification from the 80-year war. Then follow 55, 54 and on the way to 53 you can take a break at cafe Elsakker. Do that, because after that you won't come across many catering establishments anymore (self-service!!! )                                        &n bsp;                 The 53 sends you past the mark and to the Zwartenbergse polder and via 52 and 73 you cross the A16 again.                         &n bsp;                                         &n bsp;         Then you arrive in a beautiful polder area!!! Eventually you cycle on the pontoon path between the cows. If you are tired you can take the ferry at 73 and you are back at the starting point. ( about 20 km )                                     &n bsp;                       If you continue cycling to 76 you will drive through a beautiful nature reserve, it remains beautiful up to and including the Asterdplas. Then you have to go via 79 to 77. Not fun!!! Residential area, Moerlakebrug and the Terheydenseweg.                        ;                           ;               But then you cross the Terheydenseweg well before the bridge and then you drive via the beautiful Hartelweg towards the canal. Then follow 74 along Munnikenhof              ( n hamlet ) and nice road.                                              &n bsp;                         &n bsp;     At 74 they changed something. You go to 21, which sends you over the beautiful bike path of the Schimmer under the N road to the center of Terheyden, and then on to the harbor where we started                                &n bsp;        The only downside to the route is the part between 76 and 77, but I took that for granted!               ;
