Your route starts at Camping Klein Haneveld. First you walk to Ligtenbargs Weide, at the De Lebbenbrugge museum. This natural meadow area is beautifully situated on Groenlose Slinge. Through impoverishment management, a more species-rich hay meadow is created. A forest plantation has also been planted with wild elder, hazel, dog rose, Gelderse rose, hawthorn and blackthorn. The area is named after Willem Ligtenbarg. He was not only the last owner and user of the meadow opposite the De Lebbenbrugge museum, but also the manager of the museum. Then you walk to the nice Borculo. Borculo was granted city rights in 1375. It originated around the castle of the same name, around which a small settlement stood. In order to better defend this castle, the river Berkel has been diverted, which you will also encounter on your route.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
