Cycling route Huijbergen, Kalmthout and Hoogerheide

Enjoy lunch on the cozy terrace at Brasserie de Wolf, before you ride into the Kalmthoutse Heide. This vast heathland is a great place to make miles. Just before junction 80, you pass a lookout tower. Take some time to climb to the top for a beautiful view. Further on, the route takes you through Putte, where you cycle a few dozen meters exactly on the border between the Netherlands and Belgium. Via the Moretusbos you ride to Ossendrecht, after which you end up in Hoogerheide. Time for a refreshing break at Het Raedthuys, after which you get back on the saddle to ride to the forests of Landgoed Wouwse Plantage. Finally, you come through Huijbergen. Here you can take a look at the Johanna, a corn mill from 1862.
