Route'Bank and stream\\\' - Stream

We start at Hotel't Spijker and walk along the Rijksstraatweg in the direction of Nijmegen, on the side of the cemetery (so cross). About 350m further we turn left into a narrow path and walk through the Kastanjedal , where many sweet chestnuts grow. On the left another cemetery...

We follow the path until we can enter the Frans Dommer van Poldersveldtweg on the left . At the T-junction, turn left and then right immediately. After that, it is quite a distance to follow that road. After about 400m, the road makes a gentle bend to the right. Another 200m further, we turn left.

We continue along the road and after about 175m the road makes a gentle bend to the left. After another 200m briefly to the left onto the Natte Beek but immediately to the right again. At the T-junction to the right and continue to the Rijksstraatweg .

On the other side of that Rijksstraatweg we continue into the Kasteelselaan . After about 250m the road goes to the right (so not that small path...). The road continues a bit further, we then walk parallel to the N325 , the Nieuwe Rijksweg towards Germany. With a bend in the road we go to the right, but then it gets more exciting... after 65m we can take a path on the left. It is not listed as such on Google Maps , but Routiq knows it...

We slowly walk that path or trail again towards the aforementioned N325 . We continue to follow it until we are almost at the Verbindingsweg .

We walk a bit along the Verbindingsweg , but it bends to the right, we then go left, into the Waterstraat . We walk that until the T-junction. There, strangely enough, the same Waterstraat continues to the right (on the left is the Bongerdstraat ). That last bit of the Waterstraat ends at the Rijksstraatweg, almost at our starting and therefore also end point: Hotel't Spijker . For those who want, you can enjoy a communal lunch there...
