Walk De Lutte, Estates Oldenzaal and Tankenberg

This walking route takes you through the area between De Lutte and Oldenzaal. From the starting point you walk straight into nature. You walk through Elfterheurne, a cultural landscape with forests, meadows surrounded by hedgerows, grain fields and picturesque stream valleys. Just past junction 66 you will see a Marian chapel on your right along the road. On the Scholtenhaer estate you walk along the Rhododendronlaan. In the spring you can enjoy a true spectacle of colours here. Further on you walk up the Tankenberg, an 85-metre high hill that is part of the Oldenzaal moraine complex. During the climb you pass a tea house from 1840 on the right . From this house you can even see Germany in clear weather. Back in De Lutte you can enjoy a meal at Eetcafe't Lutters Kwartier.
