From Woerden you will experience a beautiful cycling day in the Krimpenerwaard. In the polders you will enjoy the wide views and the silence, you will also pass through towns with a rich cultural history. To start with Woerden. The local castle is located on the Defensie-eiland, a peninsula in the canal. The fortress originally dates from 1415. You will also pass the Windhond, a corn mill from 1755. In the hamlet of Diemerbroek you will enjoy a characteristic Dutch picture of ditches, willows and old farms. Further on you will cycle along the Hollandse IJssel, here you will pass the cozy and child-friendly Camping Streefland. Further on you will pass through the old town of Haastrecht. That is definitely not the last picturesque town on your route, because you will also cycle through Oudewater and Linschoten. What a beautiful day!
