Tour of the Vecht, Vilsteren and Rechteren

Your route starts at Brasserie De Zeven Deugden. The Vecht winds its way through a picturesque landscape where bygone times have been preserved. You cross the water several times today, always fun! You will soon pass the De Stokte lookout tower for a wide and beautiful view of the Vecht valley and the wooded landscape along the Vecht. The lookout tower is about 20 meters high. Dalfsen is also known as the Landgoederendrop, on your bike you will find out why! In the picturesque Vilsteren you will see many beautiful houses and farms. Rechteren Castle is the only one of the medieval castles in Overijssel of which, despite many sieges, dismantlings and major renovations, important parts have remained, namely the tower and the residential wing.
