Your route starts at Eetcafe de Bosrand. At Slenaken you cross the Gulpdal, one of the most beautiful stream valleys in the Netherlands. The Gulp is a fast-flowing tributary of the Geul. A little further on you cycle into the Groote Bos or Groote Bosch. This old nature reserve is a remnant of an old forest that once grew on the entire Plateau van Crapoel. After Epen you descend to the beautiful Geul. Along the edge of the Elzetter- and Vijlenerbos you cycle towards the Drielandenpunt. On your climb you come across a beautiful lookout tower, a perfect moment for a break. You cycle back via the Beusdaelbos. Here you can enjoy a beautiful panorama over the hilly landscape during your descent from the edge of the forest.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
