This is the longest stage of the Canadian liberators walking route with a length of 30.6 km. Start this walk in the capital of Brabant 's-Hertogenbosch and end in Lith. Along the way you will learn more about the Christmas celebration with the Canadians in Den Bosch, the placement of anti-aircraft guns, the battle at Fort Crevecoeur and Operation Schultz.
The Canadian liberation route runs in Brabant from Woensdrecht to Oss and is a total of 271 kilometers divided over 11 stages. Canadian soldiers played an important role in the liberation of the Netherlands in 1944-45. With this walking route you follow in their footsteps. From Zeeland, right through the Netherlands to Groningen. With well-known and unknown stories along the way.
