Walking stage 05: Zevenbergen - Lage Zwaluwe | Walking route Canadian Liberators

This 21.4 km stage takes you from Zevenbergen to Lage Zwaluwe. Along the way you will learn about the bloody battle that took place in Prinsenbeek for a bridgehead.

The Canadian liberation route runs in Brabant from Woensdrecht to Oss and is a total of 271 kilometers divided over 11 stages. Canadian soldiers played an important role in the liberation of the Netherlands in 1944-45. With this walking route you follow in their footsteps. From Zeeland, right through the Netherlands to Groningen. With well-known and unknown stories along the way.
