Walking stage 03: Steenbergen - Willemstad | Walking route Canadian Liberators

This stage you walk from Steenbergen via Dinteloord to Willemstad in 25.1 km. Along the way you pass Monument 1940-1945 in Dinteloord, the harbor in Dintelsas and you end the route in the ancient fortified town of Willemstad.

The Canadian liberation route runs in Brabant from Woensdrecht to Oss and is a total of 271 kilometers divided over 11 stages. Canadian soldiers played an important role in the liberation of the Netherlands in 1944-45. With this walking route you follow in their footsteps. From Zeeland, right through the Netherlands to Groningen. With well-known and unknown stories along the way.
