The second stage of the Canadian liberation route takes you in 20.3 km from Bergen op Zoom to Steenbergen. Take a moment to stop at the Canadian War Cemetery, Monument Moerstraten and Liberation Monument Welberg.

The Canadian liberation route runs in Brabant from Woensdrecht to Oss and is a total of 271 kilometers divided over 11 stages. Canadian soldiers played an important role in the liberation of the Netherlands in 1944-45. With this walking route you follow in their footsteps. From Zeeland, right through the Netherlands to Groningen. With well-known and unknown stories along the way.
