Valkenburg is a well-known hotspot in South Limburg. You will see historical buildings such as the Oude Molen and Franse Molen, but of course also the ruins of Kasteel Valkenburg. In Oud-Valkenburg you will pass the eleventh-century Johannes de Doperkerk, one of the oldest churches in this region. The town enjoys a protected village view, it seems as if you are driving back in time here. The centuries-old castles Schaloen and Genhoes are located on the Geul. Take a break at Brasserie Zondheed Ubachsberg! On the edge of Gulpen you will pass Neuburg Castle. A little further on you will discover Groenendaal, a brick farm with a courtyard. You will see a beautiful gate pavilion from 1823. Via Banholt you cycle to Mheer. You will see the seventeenth-century Sint-Lambertuskerk, with the fourteenth-century Kasteel van Mheer behind it.
