Having coffee in Venlo

Your route starts at the Arcense Herberg. You cycle through the forests of the Maasduinen to the Ravenvennen, a nature reserve with overgrown dunes and a high drifting dune - the white mountain - covered with white sand. Around the fens you see water birds, dragonflies, water lilies and mushrooms. A little further on you cycle along the Venkoelen, an old Maas meander. Just outside Venlo you pass Arenborg, a typical Limburg square farm, with a gate under the tower. You cycle into the center via the Limburgs Museum, where beautiful exhibitions are often on display. The old heart of Venlo is fun to discover - also take a look at the renovated Maasboulevard! Then you follow the Maas all the way back to Arcen. Along the way you can fully enjoy the boats on the water.
