Along the nature reserve De Vlietlanden you cycle to the old centre of Leiden. Via the Rembrandtbrug you cross the Galgewater. On the right you see the stepped gable of the Stadstimmerwerf from 1612, on the left is the mill De Put. At junction 16 you can cycle a little to the left to see the Morspoort from 1669. At the Aalmarkt you pass the seventeenth-century Waag, further on you cycle along the Oude Rijn and over the Hooglandse Kerkgracht. On the Breestraat you see the town hall, after which you cycle past the Pieterskerk and the thirteenth-century Gravensteen. The Rapenburg is the most famous canal in Leiden. Here you can see, among other things, the Academiegebouw. Via the Herengracht you cycle to the Zijlpoort from 1667. Through the polders you cycle back to Camping De Drie Morgen.
