Cycling through the polders and forests around Wapenveld

From Wezep you will cycle across the Veluwe and through the IJsseldal. A day full of variety! Through the forests of the Wezepse Heide you cycle to Hattem, a picturesque village where you can still see many old buildings. In the Hoenwaard you cycle through a wide area of grasslands and farms, after which you cycle a few kilometers on the leafy path along the Apeldoorns Kanaal. Just past junction 71 you cycle through the forest that belongs to the Klooster Hulsberg, then you cycle over the Marledijk through the IJsseldal. Here you see the Vlijt, a corn mill from 1887. Just below Wapenveld you cycle back onto the Veluwe. You will pass through Landgoed Petrea here, among other things. At De Zeuven Heuvels you can enjoy a drink and a snack.
