Description
Your route starts at Camperplaats De Ruitenborgh in the Overijssel Vechtdal. You will soon walk along the Rutenberg. This estate dates from the fifteenth century. The original castle was demolished at the beginning of the nineteenth century, instead the farmhouse was converted into a chic residence. On the other side of the Vecht you walk over the Vechtdijk, with a beautiful view over the meandering water. The Vecht is a branch of the IJssel, which winds its way between Zwolle and Ommen through the beautiful landscape. After a cup of coffee at Grand Cafe Het Oude Station you cross the Vecht again. Just below Dalfsen you will discover Landschapspark Vechtvliet. Huize De Leemcule is a manor house that has existed since 1434.
