Tour of Goor, Enter and Bornebroek

The route starts in Goor, a charming village in the Hof van Twente region. Here you'll see, among other things, the white plastered Hofkerk (Court Church). You'll cycle through the countryside on car-free lanes, passing fields and meadows, old farmhouses, and through small-scale forests. At junction 45, you'll cross the Boven-Regge river, and shortly thereafter you'll enter Enter. At the Brink, you'll see historic farmhouses in the Twente architectural style, the world's largest clog, Museum Buisjan, and the Clog and Zompen Museum. In Bornerbroek, you can stop for a delicious meal at Bistro Le Primeur before continuing to the hamlet of Deldenerbroek. A leafy path will take you along the Twenthekanaal (Twenthe Canal). This waterway was dug in the 1930s as a job creation project—mostly with a shovel and wheelbarrow.
