This route takes you through the nature around Hoofddorp and Lisse. First you drive to Groenendaal, an originally centuries-old hiking forest. Further on you pass through two young nature reserves: the Prins Bernhard Bos and the adjacent Haarlemmermeerbos. A little later you cycle onto the Geniedijk. This leads you to the Fort near Hoofddorp, which was built in 1904. The fort is part of the Defense Line of Amsterdam. You drive along the Geniedijk all the way to Aalsmeer, after which you drive past the Westeinderplassen. In Leimuiden you can get off for a nice pit stop at Keijzer Party Center, Billiard Hall and Café. Then you cycle along the Huigsloterdijk along the canal. You cycle through the polder to Lisse, a little later you drive past the Keukenhof. Finally, you drive through Woestduin Estate.
