Cycling tour Hoogmade, Leimuiden and Woubrugge

You cycle through a watery landscape between Hoogmade, Leimuiden and Woubrugge. It will not surprise you that there are many old mills along the route. Such as at the starting point, where you see the Vlietmolen from 1913. After you have crossed the Kromme Does river, you will shortly pass the Hoogmadese Mill from 1897. You cycle through the polder to the Wijde Aa. On the edge of this lake you will see the Veendermolen from 1830. At junction 29 there is a monumental lock from 1892. From the quay you have a beautiful view over the Braassemermeer. You can grab a terrace at Keijzer Party Center, Billiard Hall and Café, after which you cycle to Rijnsaterwoude. Further on you pass through the picturesque Woubrugge. You cycle back to the starting point along the Wijde Aa.
