Cycling tour Hoogmade, Leimuiden and Woubrugge

Between Hoogmade, Leimuiden, and Woubrugge, you cycle through a watery landscape. It won't surprise you that there are many old windmills along the route. For example, at the starting point, you'll see the Vlietmolen (Vliet Mill) from 1913. After crossing the Kromme Does river, you'll shortly pass the Hoogmadese Molen (Hoogmade Mill) from 1897. You cycle through the polder to the Wijde Aa lake. At the edge of this lake, you'll see the Veendermolen (Veender Mill) from 1830. At junction 29, you'll find a monumental lock from 1892. From the quay, you have a beautiful view of the Braassemermeer lake. Further on, you'll pass through the picturesque Woubrugge. Cycle along the Wijde Aa lake back to the starting point.
