Tour of Apeldoorn, Loenen and Hoenderloo

You start this route in the middle of the Veluwe! This will immediately put you in the mood for a great day out. After a few kilometers you enter Apeldoorn. In the center of this town you will see many beautiful buildings, some of which are in Art Nouveau style. You also drive past the Oranjepark and along the leafy path along the canal. Just before Loenen you pass Minicamping Molenallee, an ideal base for exploring the Veluwe and the Gelderse Valley. You drive into the village via Landgoed Ter Horst, where you can take a look at the fifteenth-century village church. You cycle through the woods to Hoenderloo, after which you set course for the Hoog Buurlose Heide. With a bit of luck, the flock of sheep that graze this area will be close to the path.
