Get a breath of fresh air along the coast at Hoek van Holland

Along the banks of the Nieuwe Waterweg you can get a breath of fresh air while looking at the large ocean ships. There is a museum in the red cast-iron High Lighthouse of Hoek van Holland. You drive north from the Oranjeplassen, an unspoilt and bird-rich nature reserve. You drive through the Westland on car-free roads. Here you will find a mosaic of ditches, canals, greenhouses and grasslands with cows. In Naaldwijk you cycle through the historic center with its beautiful monumental buildings. The fifteenth-century Oude Kerk is a real attraction. Monster is a village with a long history. Here you will see, among other things, the fifteenth-century Reformed Church.
