  • Hall

Bij 34 - Soerense Broek is a nature reserve (of Natuurmonumenten) between Leuvenheim and Dieren. It consists of wet grasslands with hedgerows. The wet nature of this nature reserve attracts many special plants and animals. For example, the carnivorous plant round-leaved sundew and the endangered plant species pimpernel grow here. The clean water also attracts many dragonflies and kingfishers flash over the water.

At 94 - The Apeldoorn Canal runs from Dieren to Hattem and was constructed in the 19th century so that ships could reach Apeldoorn. The ships transported raw materials for the paper mills, among other things. The old towpath that runs along the canal is now used as a cycle path.

After 74 - The Empese and Tondense heath is a 260 hectare nature reserve of Natuurmonumenten. It was part of the Natura 2000 area. The entrance is on the Hallsedijk. From this point you can take a nice walk with a beautiful boardwalk above a body of water along the way! The area does not only consist of heath. You will also find rare plants and animals such as the rare thistle'the Spanish rider\\\' and the black-tailed godwit.

After 56 - The village of Hall is known for the old Ludgerus church. Ludgerus was a wandering monk who, on behalf of Charlemagne and the Pope, converted the population of the eastern Netherlands from the Saxon area. In Hall, around 794, he built a Christian house of worship made of wood and straw on a pagan sacrificial site.

Did you know that this church is the starting point of a beautiful klompenpad walk?

After 48 - Landgoed Leusveld is located between Hall and Brummen and has been owned by Natuurmonumenten since 1971 and is part of the Natura 2000 area"Landgoederen Brummen\\\". The area is very varied with an alternation of forest and extensively managed grasslands. Around the country house dating from 1911 there are beautiful avenues with old deciduous trees (mainly beech).

After 40 - De Engelenburg is a country estate on a 50 hectare estate with a golf course. The country house was built on the site of an original medieval castle.
