Tour of the Tournai estate

Your route starts at Landwinkel, Camperplaats and Restaurant de Woerdt. From here you can quickly walk along the Zandse Plas. A little further on you will make a beautiful round on the Doornik estate. It is beautifully hidden between old and new groves, in the middle of the Woerdt sub-area of Park Lingezegen, a new landscape park between Arnhem and Nijmegen. The centuries-old estate has been destroyed several times by war violence or by the river. But now a new life is starting here: the intention is to make it a resting place for art and culture. Organic food production is also central here, completely in line with the philosophy of Park Lingezegen. The Doornik Natuurakkers Foundation has created beautiful nature fields here, where rare flowers and plants grow. You will also encounter special birds and animals.
