Round trip Oeding from Brinkheurne

The route starts at Hotel Cafe Restaurant De Lindeboom. You will soon pass the large open quarry at Ratum, where geological deposits from the Tertiary were found that were relatively close to the surface. History is still tangible here! Along the Dutch-German border are border posts from 1766 made of Bentheimer sandstone. In the German Oeding you can see the neo-Romanesque St. Jacob's Church from 1911 with Art Nouveau elements in the windows. Via Burlo you cycle back to the Dutch border. At the hamlet of Kotten you cycle past a vineyard: the Reeborghesch. White and red wine are made here. At junction 30 is Berenschot\\\'s Watermolen. The watermill dates from 1652 and is still in operation. This is probably the only mill with a facade that is executed in art deco style.
