It's a beautiful, small-scale area characterized by its fairytale vistas. The Zessprong vineyard is located in the municipality of Lochem. The grapes are grown in the loam and sandy soil of this vineyard using the purest possible methods. The history of Oolde Castle dates back to 1367. Olt Oolde was located approximately 500 meters north of present-day Oolde. The current and only remaining Oolde was built by Goossens van Keppel and was originally called the Nijenhuis. It may have served as a hunting lodge, but a chapel is also described at Old Oolde, of which the cross vaults in the lower building may be the remains.
