Tour of the Circle of Dorth, Laren and Lochem

This route starts at Woodbrooke Barchem. Near Lochem you will discover a picturesque, idyllic landscape: De Graafschap National Landscape. It is a beautiful small-scale area that is characterized by its fairytale views. Wijngaard De Zessprong is located in the municipality of Lochem. The grapes are grown in the purest possible way on the loam and sandy soil of this vineyard. The history of Oolde Castle goes back to 1367. Olt Oolde was located approximately 500 meters north of the current Oolde, the current and only remaining Oolde was built by Goossens van Keppel and was first called the Nijenhuis. It may have served as a hunting lodge, but a chapel is also described at Old Oolde, of which the cross vaults in the lower house could be the remainder.
