Description
In the area around Losser you cycle through the beautiful Twente countryside. You also cross the border with Germany to discover a few charming villages. Your route starts at Camperplaats Skop\\\'nboer. In the natural countryside it is wonderfully quiet to make kilometers. Before you know it, you are driving through Germany. Here you discover the nice villages of Gildehaus and Bad Bentheim. The Freilichtmuseum Sandstein is nice, but Bentheim Castle is the big attraction here. You can see the impressive castle built of sandstone from far above Bad Bentheim. It is worth putting your bike aside for a while and visiting the castle! You cycle back along the Gildehauser Venn, a marshy area full of dense forests.
