Wine and a watermill near Haaksbergen

Your route starts at Pannenkoekerie In Den Markenrichter. Your route first takes you to the Hof van Twente vineyard in Bentelo. Below Haaksbergen you will discover Landgoed Het Lankheet. The history of this 500 hectare estate goes back to 1188! Here you can still see an old farm landscape with ash trees, hedgerows and coppices. You will also pass beautiful spots such as the Oostendorper Watermolen, a double water wheel mill on the Buursebeek. The original Oostendorpermolen was built in 1548, this one dates from 1950. In the nature reserve't Vleer you will find the old Needse swimming pool. It is no longer used, but you can still see the contours clearly. The swimming pool has been returned to nature by growing water plants and making the wall of the pool sloping.
