A nice tour through the Brabant countryside! In Hooge Zwaluwe you will find the Zeldenrust mill. This mill was built in 1866 to grind grain. The mill was also used for this purpose until 1946. Later the mill was extensively restored to ensure it remained operational. Get off in Drimmelen in front of the Biesbosch information center. At high tide, the sea water pushes the water in the rivers about 50 kilometers inland, which is impressive. Drop off at Cafe ons Thuis in Raamsdonksveer! Then you discover Geertruidenberg. In the past you didn't just come in here. The city has two guard posts. During times of war, soldiers had to check who was coming in and out. The Hoofdwacht (1786) and the Oude Wacht (1836) Geertruidenberg formed their home. You cycle back to square one via Terheijden.
