A nice tour through the Brabant countryside! In Hooge Zwaluwe you will find the Zeldenrust mill. This mill was built in 1866 to grind grain. The mill was also used for this purpose until 1946. Later, the mill was extensively restored to remain operational. Stop in Drimmelen for the Biesbosch information centre. At high tide, the seawater pushes the water in the rivers about 50 kilometres inland, impressive. Stop in Raamsdonksveer at Cafe ons Thuis! Then you will discover Geertruidenberg. In the past, you could not just enter here. The city has two guard posts. In times of war, soldiers had to check who was coming in and out. The Hoofdwacht (1786) and the Oude Wacht (1836) Geertruidenberg formed their accommodation. Via Terheijden you cycle back to the start.
