Cycling route Haamstede and Renesse

Schouwen-Duiveland guarantees a varied day of cycling. On this beautiful Zeeland island you will find nature, tranquility and a rich cultural history. Such as in Noordwelle where you will see a monumental stepped gable building from 1631 on the Dorpsring. In Haamstede you can take a look at a castle whose keep dates from the thirteenth century. Then it's time for nature. You drive several kilometers through a mix of forest and dunes. At Restaurant HeerlijkZo you can enjoy a drink and a meal on the terrace, after which you drive back to the dunes on the old Ring of Renesse. Just past Scharendijke you pass two beautiful flour mills: the Lelie from 1868 and't Hert from 1748. Finally, you drive past the De Prunje nature reserve.
