Explore the Drents-Friese Wold

In the Drents-Friese Wold National Park you will find plenty of peace and natural beauty. Ideal if you want to leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind you. From Appelscha you drive through the forest to Terwisscha where the Drents-Friese Wold Visitor Center is located. You can see the exhibition Borderless Wold here. Further on you will pass Park Drentheland, a holiday address located in the middle of nature. Then you ride many kilometers on the cycle path through the vast forests. You pass the Koopmansveentje, a beautiful area with heathland and fens. In between you cycle through Doldersum, a town where the old village green is still in its original location: on the edge of the village. You also drive through the Vledder Aa stream valley, where you look out over grasslands and grazing sheep. What a change!
