The route starts at the Town Hall Square, where you will encounter the statue of Ambiorix. You walk via the picturesque Beukenberg to the Castle of Betho. A little further on your journey you will reach a Roman temple site, one of the many sights that Tongeren has to offer.
Along the way you will also come across the Moerentoren, as well as numerous remains from the time of the Gallo-Roman civilian settlement and the Middle Ages. At the end of the walk you can visit the Gallo-Roman Museum and the Basilica of Our Lady.
