Visbeek valley heathland route

The route starts and ends at hiking junction 96 and takes you through the Visbeek valley, a nature reserve with a typical Kempen landscape full of heathland, wide sandy roads, grasslands rich in wild flowers, fens and wet forests. Along the way you will pass the Warande pond, located between the forests of Rollekensbergen and the Visbeek valley. At the end of the route you will pass De Lilse Bergen, a recreational area surrounded by conifers and a swimming pond with a sandy beach.
